"My passion started 45 years ago. I was fortunate to be an apprentice of a well-known Master Craftsman Cabinet Maker known as Arthur Mockford from England."
Stephen was under Arthur’s wing for 16 pleasant years, starting at the age of 22. In those formative years, he was taught in the finest detail the proper way of Solid Timber Craftsmanship.
Arthur sadly passed away many years ago, and today, Mockford Range stands as a living tribute to his mentorship. As Stephen often says: "I salute you Arthur!!!!"
The "Old School" Way
At Mockford Range, we take pride in precision. All items manufactured are still done the "Old School" way. No mass production. No shortcuts.
We believe that nothing is built with speed, as time is given to precision in creating an item of pride. Focus is placed on the uniqueness of every design, ensuring that what you receive is not just a piece of furniture, but a handcrafted legacy.
Material Integrity
Our workshop in Bushy Vales maintains a strict material standard. We use only quality and personally selected Kiln Dried Timber. You will never find Melamine, Chip Board, or Super Wood in our workshop. We believe solid timber is the only material capable of carrying the Mockford name.
